11 year-old Caylie Duncanson took the checkered flag Saturday night at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wisconsin.
Caylie started the night strong, finishing second in her heat race.
“It was a tough battle to get up to the front, ” Caylie said of her heat race.
Caylie went on to qualify for the feature race in the third position.
“I was pretty happy with the set-up on the car, ” Caylie said of qualifying her number 18 Bandolero.
Caylie started the race third and quickly made a run for the front. By the second lap, she made her way to the front of the pack where she battled to keep her competitors behind her. 13 laps later, Caylie took the checkered flag in first place.
“It just felt awesome, I just loved winning the race, ” Caylie said.
Caylie hopes to continue her winning streak Tuesday night at Madison International Speedway.
