He now leads Bart Hartman by 515 points with just ten events left on the 2008 schedule. Earl is trying to win his fifth consecutive national dirt late model touring series championship in a row with a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship in 2008.
“We had an incredible month of racing. To win at Eldora again two years in a row at the World of Outlaw show was awesome. I can’t say enough about my crew Randal, Keith and Matt. They have really focused this past month on giving me the best possible prepared car I could have. Their attention to the little details with these cars has been a big part in our success this past month. These Mastersbilt cars have been really working great for us and you can’t get a better powerplant than these Larry Wallace engines we run. It’s been a team effort from Bobby’s support to all our sponsors that support us that has really makes it fun right now. Hopefully we can stay on top of our game and win the $50,000 this weekend and give our sponsor Sunoco a win in their event that they are sponsoring”, stated Earl.
