POST FALLS, IDAHO – Ephrata, Washington’s Amanda MacDonald became the first female driver to win a late model feature event at Stateline Speedway. MacDonald led all 50-lap to record her first main event victory in the ICAR Series Saturday night at the track.

MacDonald sat on the pole and held off an ever present Mike Eller Jr. for the win. Eller, who won the fast dash, closed in on the lead in second half of the race but was unable to make a pass. MacDonald also won a heat.

Rusty Webb took third followed by series point leader Nathan Fleury battling motor woes.

The race was slowed for minor spins and an opening lap crash involving fast time driver Greg McKinley and fifth place finisher Colton Garber. Bruce Garber scored the B dash and heat win becoming the oldest member of his family to record wins in the series. ICAR returns to Stateline July 26.

Kameron McKeehan ruled the field in the Late Model 4’s quickly distancing himself from second place finisher and dash winner Paul McCarthy in the 25-lap main event to score the victory.

McCarthy held off a hard charging Travis Allen on the last lap to score second. Allen was third with fast time driver John Jackson taking fourth. Tom Plybon won the heat but suffered mechanical problems in the main to finish seventh.

Treven Tarr out dueled dash winner Billy Swift in a side by side battle to take the Hobby Stock 25-lap main event win. Swift finished second followed by Gary Hommel in third. Brycen Tarr set fast time and won a heat along with Joel Schrader. Yvonne Lifsey won the b dash and finished ninth in the main event.

Justin Robideaux set fast time, scored the heat win, and passed Shawn Priest on the inside with ten laps to go to take the win for the Early Stocks. Priest finished second followed by dash winner Ken Iverson in the 20-lap event. Two cars were knocked out of the event before the races when they collided in practice.
