With the motorsport season just around the corner Brands Hatch is busy preparing for the first car meeting of the year, an event that is already shaping up to be a real treat for Lotus lovers and race fans alike.
The Lotus Brands Hatch Celebration, scheduled for 24 March, will mark the inaugural round of the Lotus On Track Elise Trophy and will feature the largest grid of Elise race cars ever formed - an event that comes just days after 311 Lotuses squeezed onto the Indy circuit to smash the World Record for the longest parade of single make cars.
Lotus enthusiasts will also be treated to club displays, demonstration laps from historic Lotus F1 machinery, a parade of Historic Lotus cars plus the chance to meet Lotus Grand Prix hero Martin Donnelly.
The packed meeting will also feature action from the Irish Porsche Open Racing Series, Sports Racing and GTs, BARC SE Sports and Saloons, Formula Fords and T Cars.
