The normal procedure for any potential new racing series would involve a formal approach to the Australian Motor Racing Commission (AMRC) who would consider a business plan and the likely fit with the strategic direction of circuit racing in Australia.

Then if endorsed, the Australian Motor Sports Commission (AMSC) would need to negotiate the contractual arrangements with the proposed category manager to formally stage a CAMS sanctioned national series.
