Formula 1: Hamilton Hopes To Race-Up Famous Hill At Goodwood Festival McLaren

Last season Lewis Hamilton made his first public foray on British soil as a fully-fledged Formula One star at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and now Hamilton has confirmed he will again be in attendence at this year’s event.

The British driver’s presence is especially appropriate as the theme for the 2008 Festival has already been announced as ‘Hawthorn to Hamilton - Britain’s love affair with World Motor Sport’. And, like last year, the 23 year-old is expected to race up the famous hill in a McLaren.

As well as recognising Hamilton’s recent achievements, the event’s programme will also celebrate the contributions of iconic British motorsport.
