Busch will be the only driver competing in today’s Craftsman Truck, Saturday’s Nationwide and Sunday’s Sprint Cup races.
Busch will be especially busy today, as he will practice in his Nationwide car, practice and qualify in his Sprint Cup car and qualify and race in this afternoon’s AAA Insurance 200 Craftsman Truck Series race.
Busch, who has done the “triple” at Dover before, claims it’s really not that exhausting.
“Well, you try to find time to eat, but besides that, it’s not that bad,” Busch said. “You know, I’ve been pretty used to it, going back and forth and switching between all three. You just have to remember what your marks are in each different vehicle.
“You’ve got to remember where you brake, you’ve got to remember where you gas, you’ve got to remember how much brake and everything. It’s just a matter of having a good memory, I guess, which I don’t have a very good memory.”
Busch has had success in all of NASCAR’s racing divisions this season, leading the Sprint Cup points race with three victories, while also winning four times in Nationwide and twice in Craftsman Trucks.
