SEVERE bad weather affecting New South Wales forced the cancellation of all track activity on the opening day of round two of the 2007 Donut King Australian Performance Car Championship at Eastern Creek International Raceway today.
Cars had been scheduled to take part in two practice sessions, but the western Sydney track, run-off areas and paddock were awash after heavy rain over the past two days.
Event officials were working on a revised schedule, which is expected to include a practice session tomorrow morning before qualifying and the first of the weekend’s three races for Performance Cars.
