The 22nd edition of the NAPA Auto Parts Reading Racing Reunion & Car Show will officially open on Friday, March 2nd at the Fairgrounds Square Mall in Reading, PA. The three day show will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday with more then eighty race cars of various divisions on display. Cars from almost every dirt track division will be on display joined by a presentation by the Reading Fairgrounds Historical Society.
On Friday night, March 2nd, the popular Legend’s Reunion will take place on the center court stage at the Fairgrounds Square Mall at 7 PM. Come out and meet and greet many of your favorite racing celebrities from the past and present. In fact, The Mavericks MC Racing with driver Duane Howard will make a special appearance as part of the Legend’s Reunion. Howard, joined by his new race team will be on hand to answer questions, sign autographs and say hello to the many race fans that turn out for this show. Without a doubt, one of the big questions for Howard will be. .. What are your plans for 2007? Some are guessing, others are speculating? Be there Friday night and lets hear exactly what Duane Howard has to say.
Following the Legend’s Reunion, the gang will head over to the Temple Fire Company for the Annual BASH Racing Movie Party and Grandview Speedway Season Kickoff. NAPA/Berks Auto Parts is the sponsor of The BASH that will begin at 9 PM and continue until 1 AM. Racing Movies, Music for dancing and the popular car show awards will be presented. Tickets for the BASH are just $10 and may be purchased at the door of the Temple Fire Company or at the Fairgrounds Square Mall at the Car Show Program Book & T-Shirt stand. Seigfried Racing will offer a $100 Cash Award for the Best Display of the Show.
The NAPA Auto Parts Reading Racing Reunion & Car Show will run on Saturday, March 3rd from 10 AM to 9 PM and again on Sunday, March 4th from 11 AM to 5 PM.
