- Speedway Flea Market Continues Every Sunday beginning March 25 – The “new” Speedway Flea Market continues every Sunday morning 7:00 a. m. There will be plenty of things for everyone. Vendor fees are $10.00 per day. Space will be limited to a “reasonable” amount for each vendor. This flea market will continue every Sunday through November 25, 2007.
- Street Stock Head Rule – Ported cylinder heads are illegal as only port matching will be permitted.
- Visa or Mastercard Accepted at SSP - Fans are now able to purchase tickets for all Susquehanna Speedway Park events by using a Mastercard or Visa credit card. Credit cards may be used at the ticket window or to purchase any preseason packages in advance. Preseason purchases include season passes, reserved seats, reserved parking spots and gift certificates.
- Hoosier Racing Tires Continues as Official Tire of SSP – The Susquehanna Speedway Park is pleased to announce Hoosier Racing Tire will remain as its official tire again for the 2007 racing season. Hoosier-brand tires are the exclusive tire supplier for the Super Sprint Cars, Super Sportsman, Late Models and Street Stocks. SSP has signed a contract for Hoosier to be the official tire through the 2008 racing season for these divisions of racing. - Mid Summer Vacation Break – From Sunday, July 8 to Friday, July 20, there will be no racing scheduled at SSP. It is a time for all SSP competitors to take time off and regroup for the second half of the season.
- Repeat Fan Discount in 2007 - There will be a $2.00 discount for each person with a ticket stub from races during the previous week s events completed only (previous Saturday and Sunday). Returning fans are encouraged to write their name, address and phone number on the back of the stub to be entered into special drawings during the season for great prizes. Last season, 10 winners were drawn from the repeat fans and each winner received $30 in SSP Gift Certificates for tickets or concessions. The Repeat Fan Discount is not valid for pit pass purchases.
- “The Outback” Track at SSP – The Outback Track at SSP is currently under construction for Quarter Midgets, karts and more. The days of operation will be Saturdays and/or Sundays beginning in June 2 & 3, 2007 with open practice sessions. Competitive racing is set to begin just after the mid-summer vacation break on July 21 and/or July 22. The days of operation and classes/types of cars or karts will be developed during the open practice sessions. Details will continue to be released as they become finalized.
