NEWTON, Iowa – After a rough start to the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series season at Daytona International Speedway and Salem Speedway, Minnesota’s Win-Tron Racing turns to Iowa Speedway to turn their season around in Saturday’s Prairie Meadows 250.

For the first time this season, Win-Tron Racing will field two entries in an effort to strengthen their ARCA RE/MAX Series program. Holmdel, New Jersey’s Dominick Casola, a sophomore driver on the tour will continue to drive the No. 32 A. Casola Farms Dodge Charger on Saturday while returning Win-Tron Racing driver James Buescher will take the helm of the team’s No. 9 Dodge Charger.

Casola, a former USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup Series star will make his second start at the Rusty Wallace designed facility while Buescher, the youngest winner in ARCA RE/MAX Series history (USA International Speedway, March 2007) will make his inaugural run at the unique short track.

Last season, Win-Tron Racing captured the ARCA SIM Factory pole award enroute to a third place finish for driver Michael Annett in his RE/MAX Series debut.

“We’re looking forward to having two cars this weekend at Iowa Speedway,” said Win-Tron co-owner Nate Thiesse. “We’re hoping to turn our season around with Dominick while getting our first race with James Buescher off in a positive way.”

While the disappointing finishes from Daytona and Salem have the tendency to flatten any team’s spirits, Thiesse is adamant to state that his team has not lost focus and their goal is to put Casola back in the top-10.

“Dominick is a tremendous talent; we’re just having some early season struggles. He has done a great job with us in testing and has been in the wrong position at the wrong time in both races this year. We’re confident that Dominick is 150 percent focused on gathering his thoughts and adding another top-10 finish to his resume Saturday afternoon.”

For Casola, he echoes Thiesse’s statement.

“I’m not happy at all the way we’ve started our season,” said Casola, who holds a career best finish of third as his personal ARCA best. “We’ve had great cars and I have an unbelievable crew, we just haven’t been able to shake the crummy luck on the track. I enjoy competing at Iowa Speedway. It’s a very unique but satisfying racetrack. Hopefully that will pay off for me this weekend. I’m also hoping we’ll be able to keep our No. 32 A. Casola Farms Dodge in the hunt all weekend long and more importantly gain some points.”

Buescher who bolted onto the ARCA scene in incredible fashion with six top-10s in seven starts last year is looking forward to making his Iowa Speedway debut.

“I’m thrilled to be back ARCA racing,” said Buescher. “Last year was a lot fun, getting that first win, but I was only allowed to race on short tracks. This year is different. I’m looking forward to going to bigger tracks and seeing what these WinTron cars can do. It’s always a blast to drive for Kevin [Cywinski],” Buescher continued. “He’s one of those guys who truly dedicates himself to making a car better and taking in any feedback I can give him. He’s assembled a team that can win races, so I’ve put the pressure on myself to see that that job gets done.”

After their duties at the track on Friday afternoon, Casola and Buescher will spend their evening at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino (Altoona, Iowa) participating in an autograph session from 6:00pm to 8:00pm local time.

A. Casola Farms, a family-owned business will sponsor Casola’s No. 32 Dodge Charger this weekend at Iowa Speedway. Casola will make his 25th career ARCA start and his second at Iowa Speedway on Saturday.

Mercedes Homes will hold the primary sponsorship role on Buescher’s No. 9 Dodge Charger this weekend. Buescher is slated to make his eighth career ARCA start and first at Iowa Speedway on Saturday. The Plano, Texas native did however compete in a United Speed Alliance Racing (USAR) Series Hooter’s Pro Cup event at the .875-mile facility last year.
