Mike Villanueva became one of the few to win multiple main events in the Western Modified division at the Chowchilla Speedway Saturday night. Roy Hart Jr., Mitch Enos and Darren Thomas dominate the heat races and trophy dash, but Shepherd sneaks out a win in the Super Stock main to keep the Bounty out of the hands of one of the hunters.
Villanueva stepped in front of the Western Modified point leader Alex Stanford for the second main event in a row to take away the win, Stanford won his heat race and finished a strong second in the main. Trophy Dash winner Garrett Steitz finished third, followed by Aaron Barnell and Robert Marsh. “This track and the modifieds produce the best racing I have ever see, the cars race so hard and so close to each other, and the changes in the track have been great” Ron Stevens a long time dirt track fan from Modesto California.
