Crusty Demons daredevil Cam Sinclair says he will back on his bike in three months, just weeks after surviving a horrific crash in Spain.
The motocross trickster was lucky to be alive after landing on his head while performing his signature double backflip in Madrid for the Red Bull X Fighters show on July 18.
Spanish doctors had to put the 25-year-old into an induced coma and he had to have emergency surgery to repair his ruptured liver.
Sinclair was discharged from the Epworth Hospital late last week after returning from Spain, but he is already preparing to return to work.
“I have had a show booked in Colombia for months and I have told the doctors I really want to be back on the bike for it,” Sinclair told yesterday. Herald Sun
Surgeons saved Sinclair’s life by stopping the internal bleeding. He was kept under close observation in Madrid’s Gregorio Maranon University hospital.
In a statement, Sinclair said he looked forward to recovering from his injuries at home.
“I just want to be home around all my family and friends. I can’t wait to just lie on my own couch, watch TV and let my body heal,” he said. Cranbourne News
