In the Supercross Lites class Dungey started the night by taking an impressive second place in his six-lap heat race. Then, in the 15-lap Main he got a good start and took over the lead within a few laps. Unfortunately he went down in a turn but was back up and still finished on the podium.
“It s been a good day, ” said Dungey afterwards. “Practice was good, even though it was a little bit muddy. Then, going into the heat race, we left the choke on but still managed to finish second and get into the Main. We got a pretty good start and I made some passes and got into second place and then I made the pass for first. I was leading for about four or five laps then I made a mistake and went down. But I got back up in third place and just held my position. “
