Jame Stewart
Two years ago at the Dallas Supercross a teenaged James Stewart broke through to earn his first AMA Supercross victory. That win was one of the most impressive demonstrations of the awesome talent the young Kawasaki ace possessed. This Saturday, March 31, Stewart, now 21, returns to Texas Stadium, but instead of coming to Dallas as the up-and-comer he was two years ago, Stewart has established himself as the marquee star in the Amp d Mobile AMA Supercross Series.
Stewart is coming off perhaps the most thrilling race of his career last weekend in Indianapolis. Caught in traffic in the first corner and forced to the rear of the 21-rider pack in the 20-lap final, Stewart came roaring back to catch leader Chad Reed and score his third win in a row and ninth in 12 races leading up to this weekends race in Dallas. The Indy victory pushed Stewart s lead over L&M Yamaha s Reed to 32 points. It also marked Stewart s 20th AMA Supercross win.
