Morning practice characterized by heavy rain that has limited the performances of the MotoGP riders. A pity that both Alice Team riders, Toni Elias and Sylvain Guintoli, couldn’t step on track in the last minutes of practices due to two falls. It seems that both riders have only suffered two hard contusions and should be able to be back on track tomorrow. Guintoli has always been competitive today concluding with the fifth best lap time in the morning and the eight in the afternoon.

“It seemed like a good day for us. Sylvain has always been between the fastest, but then at the end of free practice two, both of our riders slipped and they weren’t being able to ride in the last minutes of the practice, when the track was in the best conditions. Notwithstanding this, Sylvain has concluded with the eight best lap time. The Frenchman has suffered a hard hit at his left knee, but it doesn’t seem anything too serious. I hope to have them both on track tomorrow.”

“I have so much pain in my behind after today’s fall. I can’t even sit down. I also landed really hard on my left knee, I thought it was something serious, but it seems that also here is just a big bruise. I hope that tomorrow all this pain will go away so I can be at my best for the last qualifying session of the season. The track improved in the last few minutes and if I was on track I would have done much better than the eight place.”

“Because of the climatic conditions we have basically wasted a day. We wanted to try different solutions, but unluckily it hasn’t been possible to follow the schedule we have planned. I hope to find better track conditions tomorrow. I don’t like to be so far behind in the classification and tomorrow I will do my best to obtain a good position.”
