Ducati boss Livio Suppo is “sure” that Casey Stoner will be back in action in time for the Portuguese MotoGP at Estoril.
Stoner led the 2009 world championship with two wins from the first five races, but was waylaid by illness at the Catalan Grand Prix in Barcelona and has battled chronic fatigue ever since.

“The news from Casey is positive, he is getting stronger and I’m sure he will be back at full strength at Estoril,” Suppo said.
Despite missing the last race in Brno, Stoner still remains in third place in the standings, although Dani Pedrosa is just 15 points behind him.
Finnish rider Mika Kallio will continue to fill in for Stoner during the next two races at Indianapolis this weekend and San Marino the week after.
Team-mate Nicky Hayden, who finished second at Indianapolis in 2008, can’t wait for this weekend’s round and hopes that the fans will be out in force to support him. sportal.com.au
