Difficult qualifying practice for the Alice Team on the Indianapolis circuit. Toni Elias has always been between the fastest during the qualifying practice, but in the first lap with soft tyres he slipped losing bike number one for the rest of the session. He ran back to the box and jumped on the second bike conquering at the last attempt the ninth position. The race rhythm is sensibly faster compare to the position conquered today, and if the weather condition will be similar to today he will be able to fight for the first positions as it happened in the last two races. His teammate, Sylvain Guintoli, didn’t make it to go further than the fourteenth position and will have to start the race from the fifth row.

“We are now used to this exciting qualifying session thanks to Toni. We have a really good set up with race tyres and we were always with the firsts. Unluckily in the first attempt with soft tyre he slipped and we have done what possible with the second bike. We are anyway satisfied with the third row for how things went today. I have to thanks all the technicians who have made it to prepare the bike perfectly and in a really short time.”

“I am happy because the race rhythm is very good. Even if I will start from the third row I think we will be able to have a really nice race. I have been unlucky in the fall but I was really pumped up and I was pushing at the maximum. I feel good on the bike and tomorrow we will do our best to conquer another good result. We hope that tomorrow we will have similar climatic condition.”

“During qualifying, in my best lap, I made a little mistake in the first part of the circuit and I lost a bit of time. Surely this track conditions are much better for us compare to yesterday. The race rhythm has improved compared this morning and we are trustful that during tomorrow’s warm up we will make it to take another step forward.”
