Jorge Lorenzo has admitted he does not need any more motivation as he will arrive for his home race at Jerez as leader of the FIM MotoGP World Championship.
The Spaniard took over the championship lead with victory in the previous race in Japan, and the Fiat Yamaha rider hopes for a repeat in front of his home fans.

Lorenzo said: “My motivation is high because I am arriving as the World Championship leader in my own home. I can’t ask for more.”
“I would like another podium, like last year in Jerez and like the first two races in 2009. I am confident.”

Lorenzo heads to Jerez with a lead of one point over team-mate Valentino Rossi, with Ducati Marlboro rider Casey Stoner in third two points further back.
