Dani Pedrosa romped to pole position for Sunday’s Indianapolis MotoGP ahead of Fiat Yamaha pair Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
The Spaniard set a lap time of one minute 39.730 seconds, half a second faster than Lorenzo, with a late surge on the last lap putting Rossi third. BBC Sport
“I’m happy,” Pedrosa said. “I think we have to look for something else. I think we always should have to work and try to improve for tomorrow.”
“Honestly, we don’t have enough pace at the moment, and I can’t ride how I want to,” Rossi said. “We don’t have quite enough grip to enable us to push at the maximum. We did a lot of work this afternoon, but we’re still not at our best.” The Associated Press
