Jorge Lorenzo has edged out Dani Pedrosa to be fastest in final practice for the San Marino MotoGP event at Misano.
Honda rider Pedrosa, 24, dominated Friday’s session and was the only rider to break the one minute 35 seconds mark, but final practice was much livelier with five riders going under that time.
Championship leader Lorenzo, whose worst performance of the season was his third in Sunday’s Indianapolis MotoGP, clocked 1:34.627 on his Yamaha, just 0.104 ahead of Pedrosa. Sportal.com.au
