Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa has qualified on pole for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old, who finished the opening race in Qatar in seventh, clocked a time of one minute, 39.202 at the Jerez Circuit to snatch his 14th career pole.
Compatriot Jorge Lorenzo will start second on the grid with Casey Stoner of Australia in third. SkySports

World champion Valentino Rossi, who has been struggling with a bruised shoulder, headed the second row along with American Nicky Hayden and Frenchman Randy De Puniet.
