Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo snatched a dramatic last-lap win at the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez to move top of the world championship standings.
Pole sitter Dani Pedrosa led the race until the final lap, when compatriot and bitter rival Lorenzo piled on the pressure and eventually got past him.
A good start for Valentino Rossi moved him up from fourth to second but he was passed by Lorenzo with six laps to go.

Andrea Dovizioso taking sixth place. Mika Kallio (Pramac Racing) completed an impressive rise from last place on the grid to take seventh, with Melandri, Randy de Puniet (LCR Honda) and Álvaro Bautista (Rizla Suzuki) also placing inside the top ten. MotoGP
