Dani Pedrosa were the pacesetters in Friday’s second practice sessions for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez.
Stoner was quickest in the morning before Pedrosa topped the timesheets in the second session. The Spaniard’s time of one minute 40.101 seconds was 0.188secs faster than Stoner’s afternoon best, although the Australian went some six-tenths quicker in session one to post the best time of the day overall.
Pedrosa’s strong practice showing came despite the arm problem he is currently suffering which will require surgery after Sunday’s race. SkySports

Reigning MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) was the best of the rest, moving up from fifth from the morning session to third. Marco Simoncelli (San Carlo Honda Gresini Team) repeated his form from FP1, with the fourth fastest lap, 0.600 off the time from the Repsol Honda rider.
