The Ducati Moto GP team, who won the 2007 Moto GP Championship were recieved by the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano. They were also recieved by the Italian Prime Minister, Romano Prodi.
The delegation of around 40 people came after the Italian based Ducati team brought back the Moto GP championship to Italy after it had been absent from the country for 33 years.
The delegation included the new world champion Casey Stoner, aswell as Claudio Domenicali (CEO Ducati Corse and Ducati Motor Director General of Product), along with many other Ducati bosses.
Ducati and Napolitano also met ealier this year, where the president got a look at the Ducati 1098 Tricolore. This time around the president also got a look at the Ducati Desmosedici GP7 Tricolore, which took part in the Valencia Moto GP this year.
