Yamaha Tech 3 rider James Toseland is confident he will prove competitive again during the final group test of the MotoGP pre-season at Jerez this weekend.
The Sheffield rider insisted he is overcoming the after-effects of the fall, making a breakthrough in performance during the final night of testing at Qatar to prove just over a second slower than team-mate Colin Edwards.
“It wasn’t easy in our last test in Qatar but on the last night I felt like we were finding a good direction and I was certainly feeling a lot more comfortable on the bike,” he said.
