British racing driver Jenson Button has revealed how he had to step in to fend off the advances of a randy Richard Branson who had taken a shine to his Japanese model girlfriend.
Button said he had to give a stern warning to Sir Richard after he apparently made a play for pretty Jessica Michibata, 24, at a party to celebrate Branson’s sponsorship of Button’s racing team.
Button, 29, says Branson realised he had overstepped the mark and was apologetic after the event.

Button told an interviewer that he told Branson off with such severity that he: “Won’t be doing it again”.
Branson’s spokeswoman said: “Richard has no memory of anything happening. They had a great night with lots of celebrating.”
Interviewer: ‘That story suggested that you thought Mr Branson had made a charge on your girlfriend and you’d got rather angry about it.’
Button replied: ‘I think everyone just got very excited after I got pole for that first Grand Prix.’
Morgan: ‘Was is hug a little too long for your liking?’
Button: ‘It wasn’t a hug.’
Morgan: ‘A kiss?’
Button: ‘It was a couple of people who’d had too many drinks, but there was no touching involved.’
