It may have been the Men of the Year Awards, but it was the female celebrities getting all the attention last night.
Lily Allen chose to dress like Morticia Addams for the GQ bash and was outgunned on the red carpet by Kelly Brook, who slipped her curves into a figure-hugging pink PVC dress.
Singer Lily, 23, wore a sheer black dress over a leotard, which she teamed with heavy eye make-up and long hair extensions.
However, it was Lily who walked off with the Woman of the Year award at the Royal Opera House ceremony, while Kelly had to make do with pesenting Michael McIntyre with the Comedian trophy.
Elsewhere, a number of the female guests made the most of the warm summer evening to show, in particular Elizabether Hurley, 44, who took the opportunity to show off her curves in a summery sky blue bandeau dress and black strappy sandals.
One of the night’s many winners was 29-year-old racing ace Jenson Button, who arrived with his Japanese lingerie model girlfriend Jessica Michibata, 24, who looked stunning in a gold mini-dress. Daily Mail
Formula One driver Jenson Button is having the season of his career with Brawn GP. He has had six Grand Prix wins in the 12 races of the current F1 season. The secret to this season’s success is simple, according to Button. He’s improved as a racer, has a better car and the desire to win every race ("I view finishing second or third as a failure"). gmagzine
For Jenson Button, though, it could be a whole lot better. He may be head over heels in love with the stunning Jessica Michibata (and who could possibly blame him?) but the Brawn GP driver only has one thing on his mind this weekend: winning the Italian Grand Prix. Auto Racing Daily
