Nicole Scherzinger was watched by her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton as she competed in the final of Dancing With The Stars last night.
And it seems the Formula 1 racing champion was a good luck charm for his Pussycat Doll as Nicole topped the leader board at the end of the series finale.
The 30-year-old and her partner Derek Hough finished the show in joint top position with the underdogs, sportscaster Erin Andrews and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, both picking up 55 points. Daily Mail
The brunette, who was partnered by Cheryl Cole’s pal Derek Hough, looked jubilant as she picked up the massive glitter ball on the American version of Strictly.
And looking stunning in her skimpy gold frock, she was bound to have made boyfriend Lewis Hamilton proud.
On hearing the viewers’ verdict, the pop babe screamed and jumped onto her partner, before he announced: “We don’t take anything for granted. Everyone’s been amazing.” The Sun
Nicole Scherzinger told she won’t be keeping her coveted mirror ball trophy.
“I’m going to give it to my mom because she’s the reason I really did this show,” the Pussycat Doll, 31, said after the show. “This is for her!”
She said she was touched when head judge Len Goodman told her, “There can only be one winner of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ It should be you.”
Said Scherzinger, “I started to cry right there. For Len to say that? I cried. I may as well have won then whether I got the trophy or not.” Us Magazine
