Singer Nicole Scherzinger has opened up about her split from Lewis Hamilton, insisting she still loves the Formula 1 racing driver.
The Formula 1 driver and the X Factor judge had split after four years of being together.
“I still love him. It’s all very recent and it’s hard for me to talk about it. But we are good friends. We’re great friends,” sh said. NDTV
“Right now, he’s got to focus on his career and I’ve got to focus on mine. Next year, I’ll work on me. It’s a new chapter. I’ve got a new journey I’m going on. It’s amazing. I feel it’s just the beginning.”
This might make for unhappy reading for The X Factor USA host Steve Jones, who was yesterday reported to have declared his intention to woo Nicole now that the show had finished.
Nicole also dismissed reports that she hooked-up with Tinie Tempah at a gig.
She said: “We didn’t even meet backstage. It’s the most ridiculous thing that people are saying something went on. I’m not that kind of girl.” MTV UK
