Bernie Ecclestone spent decades in the shadow of his model wife Slavica’s 6ft 2in frame.
Now divorced, the 78-year-old billionaire still seems keen to be seen with a pretty girl on his arm - and has managed to find one a little closer to his eye level.
Unfortunately, however, she fails the test on a different level - she is 62 years his junior.
The 5ft 6in beauty with her arm wrapped round the Formula One tycoon is Missy Mallick, a friend of the family.
Ecclestone was invited to her 16th birthday party at the exclusive London restaurant Nobu.
While their departure together caused something of a stir, Ecclestone was quick to stamp on any speculation.
He said: ‘Her father is a barrister and a good friend of mine - he invited me to Missy’s 16th birthday party in Nobu.
‘We decided to walk out together, but I’m afraid that’s all there is to it. She’s much too young for me!’
