Question: What does your dad think about your bikini shots?
Tamara Ecclestone: He doesn’t say anything, he just glosses over them. He must be used to it because my mum was a model.
Question: You went naked for Peta. How nerve-racking was stripping?
Tamara Ecclestone: I was so scared and kept worrying about what people were going to say. I have dogs and I love animals, so I kept reminding myself it was for a really good cause.

Question: Your father famously insisted you work instead of taking handouts. What’s the worst job you have done?
Tamara Ecclestone: He was very unhappy I dropped out of university and told me I wasn’t allowed to sit around watching daytime TV. At the time I was a lot younger and wasn’t very happy about his decision. I said I was interested in fashion, so he made me work in an Armani clothes shop. The customers were so horrid. I didn’t know people like that existed.
Question: Are you enjoying the new F1 rules?
Tamara Ecclestone: It’s definitely getting people talking and it’s great to have a Brit winning again. As a result, more people in Britain are getting behind F1 than ever before. Jenson Button is the comeback kid, everyone is loving him at the moment.
Question: If you could spend an evening hanging out with any driver, past or present, who would it be?
Tamara Ecclestone: Of course I would love to see Ayrton Senna again. He was a very close family friend, a true gentleman, and was like an uncle to me. Lewis Hamilton is so lovely and down to earth too but I really want to get to know Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel better. Apparently, a journalist said to him of a recent victory: ‘This must be the happiest day of your life,’ and he replied: ‘You obviously weren’t there when I lost my virginity.’
