Does Kyle Busch Have A Bit Of Dale Earnhardt Senior In Him?

After four Cup wins, four more in the Nationwide series and two in the Craftsman truck series I think the guy may be powered by spite he draws directly from the resentment that radiates from NASCAR grandstands.
Like him or not, we are going to have to give him his due. Kyle Busch is having an amazing season.
He’s rubbed a lot of fans and fellow competitors the wrong way during his brief career, but some are talking about the obvious. Two Roush drivers performed well at the beginning of Sunday’s race, then chased Busch through the second half. Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards both complimented Bush for being a smart driver Sunday—working with his crew to make a good car superior by the end of the day.
Some have suggested that NASCAR needs Busch to be its bad boy. But that’s only justification for his petulant little boy behavior.
Some have suggested that Busch has a bit of Dale Earnhardt Sr. in him. That’s just plain nuts! Earnhardt got respect by being mean and rough. Kyle Busch is a brat who can really drive a race car. He’s reckless, but he’s not rough.
Yes, Earnhardt was the definition of hellbent for leather every time the green flag waved and had zero hesitancy to punt competitors, in the latter’s case far exceeding even Busch’s aggressive approach to every lap. That said, at this point the comparison most decidedly ends.
