An enthusiastic Justin Humphreys is eager to get on the O’Reilly Raceway Park quarter-mile track Friday to display the new performance improvements recently made on his RaceRedi Motorsports/Knoll-Gas Energy Pontiac GTO.
The first-year Pro Stock driver from Monrovia, Md., said his testing session at Martin, Mich., earlier this week went very well. And the results come just in time for Friday’s start of the fabled Mac Tools U. S. Nationals at ORP.
“We finally got the car sorted out and we found answers to some issues we had with the chassis, ” Humphreys reported. “Some of the things have been bothering us for the past month. We are excited because we made eight good laps in a row. Our best run was 6.70 at 206.50 mph. Now we are ready to get the job done at Indy. ”
