Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Camping World Series East-West combination race Sunday at Iowa Speedway, easily holding off 2008 winner Brian Ickler.

The Las Vegas native they call Rowdy drove away from the field late to easily win the Long John Silver’s 200 at Iowa Speedway. The event was a combination race bringing together teams from both the Camping World East Series and Camping World West Series.
Busch started on the pole and had the dominant car much of the day, leading 168 laps. He became the first Sprint Cup Series regular to win in the event at Iowa. Two years ago Kevin Harvick battled eventual winner, Middletown native and now Sprint Cup Series regular Joey Logano for most of the inaugural event at Iowa. Kasey Kahne competed in the race last year.
