Ron Hornaday raced to his first victory of the season and the 40th of his career, holding off Kyle Busch over the final laps Friday night at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Crafton was third, followed by Ryan Newman and Terry Cook in a race that included a spectacular crash involving Mike Skinner 35 laps in.  NASCAR.com

Busch finished second, despite two penalties. NASCAR penalized him after he had too many crew members over the wall during an early-race pit stop. His second one came for aggressive driving that occurred when he bumped Colin Braun while attempting to pass him for the lead.

“It was a frustrating night,” Busch said. “For some reason we had a miscommunication in the pits. I don’t know why we had too many guys over the wall. That’s just uncalled for, and that’s unacceptable…It’s unfortunate our night stunk that bad and we finished second” MiamiHerald.com
