Searing heat? Stiff neck? Kevin Harvick wasn’t about to let a few little problems get in the way of him putting a huge hurting on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series field Saturday at Gateway International Raceway.

Harvick crushed the field in Saturday’s CampingWorld.com 200, where he started from the pole in his No. 2 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevrolet Silverado, sponsored this week by Stubbs Legendary BBQ/Kroger.

And from there, he dominated from flag to flag, leading all but 17 laps in a commanding performance. In four NCWTS starts, this season, Harvick has three victories and one second-place finish.  FOXNews

He crossed the finish line at 1.25-mile Gateway International Raceway 5.241 seconds ahead of runner-up Brad Keselowski, who was making his third start of the season in his own truck.

Johnny Sauter ran third, followed by Bodine, who extended his series lead to 101 points over eighth-place finisher Aric Almirola.

Matt Crafton came home fifth to claim his second consecutive top five and his third of the season. Timothy Peters, rookie Austin Dillon, Almirola, Brian Ickler and Mike Skinner completed the top 10. NASCAR.com
