Points leader Kyle Busch won’t run the entire season for Billy Ballew Motorsports because of conflicts with his responsibilities as a Sprint Cup driver for Joe Gibbs Racing.
Todd Bodine, who is currently second in the series standings, likely won’t compete in two weeks at Kansas Speedway due to the lack of sponsorship for his Germain Racing Toyota.
That leaves series veterans Ron Hornaday, Mike Skinner, Matt Crafton, Johnny Benson and Rick Crawford as the only drivers with a truly legitimate shot at winning the title.
