McClenathan’s reflex actions got the car straight again. “The car clearly had oil under the tires. There had been a big oil down in front of us and I can only think there was something on the track to make the car do that. At the same time, we did qualify 13th, but it could’ve been a better run.

“We’ll go out Saturday and try to run quicker and get ready for Sunday’s eliminations.
