Carl Edwards passed Clint Bowyer for the lead through Turns 1 and 2 on Lap 223 at the .75-mile track and retained the top spot through three subsequent cautions to win his fourth Nationwide race of the season and the 17th of his career.
“Clint was doing such a good job and he was just a little free and he was hanging on for all it was worth and he just wiggled that one time and that’s all I needed,” Edwards said.
