Kyle Busch scored his fourth Nationwide victory of the season and 34th of his career by leading all but 14 of the 205 laps as the race ended with a green-white-checkered finish at Dover. He never was truly challenged and easily pulled away from the field on the final restart.
Ryan Newman, Jamie McMurray, Reed Sorenson and Jason Leffler rounded out the top five.
Busch’s day started with a record qualifying run of 158.228 mph, which eclipsed the existing NASCAR Nationwide Series track record of 157.916 mph turned by David Green in June 2004. Hamlin qualified second and was in that spot before tangling late in the race with Bowyer. Hamlin finished 12th.
Brad Keselowski finishes seventh to maintain his points lead over Kyle Busch with 11 points.
Kevin Harvick is third in standings followed by Carl Edwards and Justin Allgair.
