Kyle Busch moved one step closer to sweeping the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, winning the Nationwide Series race on Friday night after intentionally wrecking Brad Keselowski.
The boos rained down on Busch as he celebrated his 10th Nationwide victory of the season, and second since arriving at Bristol on Wednesday. He won the Truck Series race, and will try to make it a clean sweep Saturday night in the Sprint Cup Series race.

Brad Keselowski and Busch battled ferociously for the lead during the final quarter of the race, and that heated contest produced the sixth caution of the event. On Lap 219, Busch slid past Keselowski for the lead off Turn 2 but bobbled slightly down the backstretch.
Busch’s No. 18 Toyota clipped the wall after contact from Keselowski’s Dodge, and as the cars rolled through Turn 4, Busch spun his adversary in the corner, forcing Keselowski to pit to repair the damage to his car. Keselowski finished 14th.
“It is what it is,” Keselowski said. “I’m going to go to work—and work on beating his [butt].”

“I thought I had him cleared on the back, and I moved up in front of him, but instead of him doing a [Dale] Earnhardt cross-over, he just decided to run in the back of me and put me in the fence,” Busch said. “That’s Brad Keselowski, so I went down on the next corner and dumped him. He does it to everybody else, so why can’t I do that to him.”
When Busch climbed out of his car in celebration after the race, a roar of boos filled the air at the short 0.533-mile track.
Busch also won 10 races during the 2008, but Sam Ard originally set the Nationwide season record in 1983.
He also claimed his 40th career victory in the series, just eight short of tying Mark Martin’s record of 48 wins. MiamiHerald.com
Following Busch Friday night were Jason Leffler, Elliott Sadler, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Carl Edwards.
A few laps later, tight racing between Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Logano caused Logano to slip and slow down, and Leffler popped his car, pushing Logano into a slide. That sparked a multi-car accident.
Kasey Kahne had a strong car in the race’s early laps, but his night ended in a wacky wreck that put his No. 38 into carnival thrill-show mode.
Kahne was racing three-wide with Trevor Bayne and Justin Allgaier. Kahne, on the outside, was squeezed into the outside wall, and the right side of his car climbed the SAFER barrier as the left-side tires carried Kahne down the track. He was not injured. FOXNews
