Bill McAnally Racing’s Eric Holmes, pilot of the No. 20 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry and the team will be looking to record their first win at the 1.99-mile road course of Infineon Raceway. Holmes is the current points leader in the NASCAR Camping Worlds Series West.
“I’m tired of finishing second at Infineon,” joked Holmes. He recorded a second place finish in the West series last season and a second place finish while competing in the NASCAR Southwest Tour. “Infineon is one of my biggest races each year. I love the track and I have tons of friends that come out to watch. This race has always been #1 on my list to win and each year I’ve come close but I have yet to win here.”
“The NAPA team was able to test at another road course in Northern California recently,” continued Holmes. “Ty Joiner and the team back at BMR did a great just setting up the NAPA Toyota. We’re going to Infineon to win!”
With the season coming to the half-way point, the competition is fierce. Holmes and the No. 20 NAPA Toyota team look to increase their lead in the championship point race. The 2008 NCWS West Champion, Holmes would like to add a third title to his impressive resume.
The NASCAR Camping World Series West Bennett Lane Winery “200” presented by Supercuts will be on Saturday, June 20th at Infineon Raceway.
The No. 20 NAPA team would like to thank their race partner, NAPA AUTO PARTS for their continued support. We would also like to welcome Copart, a web-based automotive reselling agency, to the BMR family.
