Evanston, IL -Phil?s Incorporated drivers Mark Steinhardt and Eric Ruppel found the top of the podium this past weekend at the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing event in Crandon, Wisconsin. The Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run is one of the longest running off-road events in the country and draws truck and buggy competitors from all across North America.

The race facility, Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, is the country?s only permanent short course off-road race facility in the nation. The twenty three year old facility includes; permanent air conditioned skyboxes, permanent pit spaces, camping for 10,000 spectators, and other amenities you only find at major motorsports venues.

Eric Ruppel competes in the WSORR Stock Truck division in his #837 PHIL’S INC Art Carr Transmissions BFGoodrich Tire Ford F-150. In 2007, Eric finished third overall in WSORR Stock Truck Championship. In Round Three race action, Eric led wire-to-wire for his first victory of the year and sixth for his career. Currently, Eric Ruppel is third in the Stock Truck Championship Standings.

Mark Steinhardt and his #331 PHIL’S INC BFGoodrich Tires VW powered 1600 Buggy took home the top prize in both Round Three and Round Four. Mark Steinhardt is a multi-time class champion and currently leads the 1600 Buggy Championship.

Eric Ruppel has his Ford F-150 equipped with Stop-Tech brake rotors, Centric brake pads, TeamTech limiting straps, TeamTech safety harness, G-Force helmet and driving suit, Ringers Gloves, Racing Optics laminated tearoffs, and Prothane urethane suspension components all from Phil?s Incorporated.

Mark Steinhardt has his 1600 Buggy equipped with VW air cooled engine components, Bugpack performance products, Ringers Gloves, Simpson Sidewinder helmet, Fresh Air System Blower unit, and Racing Optics laminated tearoffs all from Phil?s Inc.
