Escanaba, MI - Scott Beauchamp and his #820 Trail Ready Stewart Mfg. Deaver Spring Bilstein Goodyear Tire Chevy has been a model of consistency through the first eight rounds of WSORR competition. The team has finished no worse than fifth, at any one time. This includes back-to-back wins at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
This full size truck division has consistently produced the closest racing during the 2008 WSORR tour.
Scott Beauchamp is one of the veterans of Stock Truck class. The Chevy truck that he competes in is continually fine tuned enabling it to run towards the front of the pack every time out.
“Everyone is very equal in the Stock Truck class”,noted Scott Beauchamp. “It’s very important to keep tuning on the truck race after race. The Deaver Spring and Bilstein Shock combination has really got this truck racing on rails. The support we get from Trail Ready Beadlocks really let us use all the tire Goodyear gives us. We can vary the tire pressure more and run tight with other competitors, when it’s needed, thanks to Trail Ready. The abuse these limited suspension trucks take is incredible, the constant pounding, on and off the throttle constantly, yet our Motive Gear ring and pinion gets our horsepower to the ground. This class usually doesn’t get much monetary support from sponsors. Most of our support comes in the way of product support, and contingency offers from companies. Believe you me, it is really appreciated.”
Here are Scott Beauchamp’s race results so far this year.

Currently, Scott has an eight point lead over second place, Eric Ruppel. The two racers have been friends off the track, but its all business when the green flag drops.
I need my starts to get better, added Beauchamp. Ruppel and a couple of other guys seem to get to the first turn before me, and if you don’t catch up right away, the race can get away from you. The race for the championship is really close. I think the top eight still have a chance at the title. With only four races left in the season, there is no room for error.
The next race for Scott Beauchamp is August 9-10 in Bark River, Michigan.
