When Ernie Saxton presents his Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News Sponsorship Seminar on Saturday, November 17th he will also be announcing, officially, the kickoff off of a $5,000 sponsorship contest. Racers from all tracks and all forms of motorsports are invited to participate in the contest that will see $4,000 in cash along with a number of additional perks awarded to the person or persons creating what the judges consider the best sponsorship proposal. Well known car owner Chad Sinon and Joe Bertothy will be sponsoring the cash award while other prizes will come from Saxton and photographer Chris Budihas. Other awards are being negotiated.
The winner will be required to carry the Sinon and Bertothy names/logos on their race car. The absolute deadline for all entries will be January 3, 2008. Those wishing to have their entries returned will be required to include a self addressed postage paid envelope.
Saxton will announce the winner at the huge Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing Fuels Race Car Show in Atlantic City, NJ on January 19th.
Seats still remain available for the Saturday, November 17th Sponsorship Seminar being presented at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Trevose, PA (convenient to Exit 351 of the PA Turnpike). Seats for the two hour seminar, followed by a question and answer session, are priced at just $50 and that includes a six-month subscription to Saxton’s monthly newsletter Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News. Registration starts at 8:30 am with coffee and tea available.
Seminar attendees will be able to get first-hand information on the sponsorship contest. Entries are being accepted at ESC, Inc. 1448 Hollywood Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Earlier in the year Saxton with support from Chad Sinon, Chris Budihas and Blake Tobias Motorsports paid out more than $3,000 in cash and prizes to Grandview Speedway sponsorship contest participants.
