A Look At New-Generation's VW Rabbit Autoeasycar


The VW Rabbit, sold as the Golf in Europe, is one of the German car company’s trademark vehicles.  Once a force in the compact car market, fewer and fewer are seen on the roads these days despite a widespread ad campaign.

A new, sixth-generation car has hit European streets recently, meaning it is only a matter of time before the Rabbit, which was once known as the Golf in the US until the name was inexplicably changed, comes East. The souped-up version of the Rabbit is known as the GTI.  Some VW aficionados are surprised that the next generation of these cars came out so quickly.  They are scrambling to get their hands on one of the remaining 5th-generation models before they disappear from everywhere except used-car lots.

The interior will change to a sportier vibe with metallic instruments and seating that brings to mind the cockpit of a sports car.  The look might be sporty, but the trademark roominess of these small cars is still intact.  Fans will be happy to know that fact.
