Alex Garcia, who made his ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) debut at Salem Speedway last September will take a major step in his stock car career this weekend when he attempts to make his first ever superspeedway appearance at Nashville Superspeedway.
Garcia, who recently made the transition from open-wheel competition to the heavier 3400-pound stock cars, is spending his 2007 racing season dabbling in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) in preparation for a full-time NBS effort in 2008. The Nashville ARCA 150 will serve as the first of the team s ARS events this season.
