The ARCA RE/MAX Series kicked off a very busy day with a two hour and twenty minute practice session early this morning at Kansas Speedway. Friday’s session under beautiful racing conditions served as the first and only practice sessions leading up to ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying set for this afternoon (12:40pm Central Time). The anticipated 41-car field will take the green flag for the Kansas Lottery $150 Grand shortly after 4:00 pm Central Time live on SPEED.

DEXTER BEAN, NO. 6 FIVE STAR TELECOM CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
Bean, a sophomore driver on the ARCA RE/MAX Series tour posted the ninth fastest time of the day with a quick lap of 31.864 seconds at 169.470 MPH. The Westby Wisconsin native is rolling into Kansas on the heels of a career best second place effort last Sunday at Salem Speedway. Bean has one previous start at Kansas Speedway last July where he finished 28th.
