Bryan Silas didnt want to see an off weekend in ARCA competition. After scoring his first top-10 finish of his young career at USA International Speedway on March 24, the Stuart, Florida native felt he could take on the rest of the schedule.
However, even with a breather last weekend, Silas still carries that confidence heading into Saturdays Nashville ARCA 150, the first of two races at Nashville Superspeedway (NSS) this season.
Man, Im still thinking about Lakeland, said Silas, who competed in his second USAR Hooters Pro Cup event last Saturday. We had a great car, everything played out right and we had a great finish. I cant wait to get back in the seat this weekend.
Theres a minor change for Silas this weekend though. Instead of piloting a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, the rookie will grasp a Ford Fusion for the first time this season. Silas dabbled with the blue oval last season driving in a limited schedule for another team.
